To maintain the beauty of these products, Berard suggests avoiding the use of strong detergents. Instead, simply hand wash and rinse the pieces in warm water and leave them to dry in a vertical position. Do not soak or put them in the dishwasher. Additionally, to prevent the wood from drying out, occasionally apply some vegetable oil, food-safe mineral oil, or beeswax.
