Fuchsia Cup & Plate

This duo is a substantial gift for any lover of Irish tradition: hand painted spongeware cup and saucer in a ready to go beautiful box.  It also encloses a totally useful cup and saucer, which is made well enough to last a good long while. This is a highly styled assembly of pinks and purples, which has been based on the wild fuchsia hedgerows that line the little country roads in Ireland. The design is strong and directional; an entire table full is a wonderful sight to see. This Fuchsia set is by Nicholas Mosse Pottery, handmade in Ireland.
