Match Convivio Soup/Pasta Bowl

This versatile bowl was fashioned after an Italian “scodelle,” traditionally used for serving soup, pasta or (more recently) salad. It is often set on top of the dinner plate.  The Convivio dinnerware collection is meant to showcase, but not upstage, your culinary creations. Each Soup/Pasta plate is individually made by hand, with a ceramic body and the Match iconic pewter rim that’s stamped with hallmarks representing the Match  workshop, the company, the tin content of the Match alloy and the city in Italy where Match is made.

match flatware and dinnerware are dishwasher safe

Match recommends cleaning using a liquid dishwasher soap, on the lowest heat setting, for both the washing and drying cycles. Please allow your dinnerware to cool before handling. Match ceramic mugs should only be washed by hand.

Please note: If you have hard water (water with a high mineral content) Match does not recommend using a dishwasher, as elements in the water may cause tarnishing or pitting of your pewter.

Please do not wash Match pewter in the extreme temperatures of a commercial dishwasher.

When washing your dinnerware by hand, please do not pre-soak in hot water.

Match stemware and barware should only be washed by hand and should not be pre-soaked in hot water as a prelude to hand washing.

Care:  Pewter Tarnishes very slowly and requires almost no maintenance. Should you want to polish your pewter, almost any metal polish will do. Read the container before you purchase. MATCH Pewter does not contain lead and is completely food safe. To clean your pewter after using it to serve food, hand wash in warm water using a liquid dish soap. Dry the pewter completely. Pewter is NOT microwave or oven safe
